Workshop Kastamonu – accessible design for hospitality.

15 January @ 8:00 - 17:00

The Laboratorio Aperto is hosting a workshop focused on the design of furniture systems for tourist accommodation facilities, with an emphasis on inclusive design, accessibility, and the functionality of spaces.

Through work on real cases, participants will be guided by experts and companies in the sector to define interior design concepts that consider the needs of both workers and users, including people with physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities.

The workshop will take place on January 16 and 17, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, is limited in number, and is aimed at Design and Architecture students from the University of Ferrara. Some spots are also reserved for teachers and high school students interested in these topics as a learning and orientation opportunity.

It is a chance for dialogue between education and the professional world to rethink hospitality spaces in an accessible and sustainable way.

We would like to thank our supporters: Wladimiro Bendandi (ADI Emilia-Romagna), Global Project (Pordenone), Kastamonu Italia Spa (Design Center, Pesaro), Livia Porro (Architutti, Trento; CERPA Italia ets), Studio PLAM (Ferrara), Tecnostile – General Contractor (S. Martino Buon Albergo, Verona).

A certificate of participation and continuing professional development credits (CFP) for various professional categories will be issued, according to the procedures indicated in the program.
